Russian born, American raised Electronic Dance Music Producer, Eugene Shnayder aka Uberphat has been mixing, re-mixing, and producing music with computers since the late 1990’s . Starting out as a high school house party DJ and progressing into a mainstream club setting, Eugene has been energizing young audiences with his empathic mixing skills and impressive track selection each and every time.

Eugene’s heaviest musical influences are Cosmic Gate, Dj Tiesto, Eric Prydz, Paul van Dyk, Ferry Corsten, Armin van Buuren, Deadmau5, and Above and Beyond, along with pages of names that would fit into his digital arsenal. With every track Eugene creates he tries to embody elements from all that has influenced him in the past.

Since the advent of the internet, and as technology evolved the music industry has experienced a hallmark turning point that forever changed the way music was created, distributed, and received. Now virtually any one with a computer and basic understanding of music theory can create beautiful compositions right out of the box. This was a blessing for Eugene because he no longer needed the use of a big corporate studio to create high quality music. So he began assembling what would now be known as Uberpharm Studios.

Throughout the years, Eugene has worked with many artists, from absolutely fresh new talent to seasoned veterans. The first few EPs released under the pseudonyms Heavy Duty, Papa Huge, and Little Lisa were well received electro house and hi-nrg dance tracks, which paved the way for Eugene’s now well-honed engineering and mixing skills.

Around 2008 Eugene and his fellow friends began a new Trance group called Physical Law. Focusing mostly on trance elements and that euphoric deep sound, along with high energy driving bass Physical Law released their debut single entitled Starlight that went out on Moya records and featured the top ten trance vocal sensation Tiff Lacey. Almost immediately after the release, the original Starlight mix gained full support from the Trance Grandmaster, Ferry Corsten. A year later Physical Law released a follow up single called Massive Dynamics on Emotive Records, which didn’t do as well since it didn’t have such a powerful vocal track.

Recently Eugene began work on a new style of music that emerged from the new sound of artists like Deadmau5, Kaskade, EDX, and Adam K. With this change, it was time to invent a new alias, in comes the name Uberphat.  It is derived heavily from video gaming, were the German word Über, which means “in excesses of”, “high quantity”, is currently used in the gaming community to mean “Super” or “Really cool”. And the 90’s American coined term, “Phat”, which used to mean “Pretty Hot and Tempting” but is now also referred to anything that is interesting, deems high merit, or simply looks cool. Basically the name Uberphat is a combination of the word “cool” from 2 different time periods.

Now Eugene’s music can be heard in support by the hottest deejays in the industry including Matt Darey, Ferry Corsten, Dj Tatana, The Flash Brothers, Miss Nine and many more. Look for Uberphat and his upcoming releases on www.Beatport.com and on his home page at www.Uberphat.net
